The PTSA funds several important activities and items throughout the school year that enhance students' overall learning environment. For example, last year we were able to donate $2,100 for calculators to the math department for testing requirements. PTSA is for everyone! Parents, guardians, students, teachers, grandparents, administrators, school board members, aunts, uncles, and community members.

There is no limit to the number of PTAs or PTSAs you can join.

We host meetings, events, and activities anywhere. Often times our meetings will be held virtually and activities are at different locations throughout Jacksonville.

35% of our membership fees go towards National and Florida PTA. If you prefer 100% of your support go to directly to LaVilla, you are welcome to make a donation (https://www.lavillaptsa.org/donate)in lieu of membership. Aside from monetary support, we always encourage volunteering your time.(https://www.lavillaptsa.org/volunteer) Whether you can only give 1 hour a year or want to give more - every bit helps! The PTSA is completely made up of volunteers and it is only through parent participation that we are able to accomplish great things each year.
