About the Event
It’s that time of year and Teacher Appreciation Week is right around the corner. LaVilla will be honoring our 80+ teachers and staff from Monday, May 6th - Friday, May 10th and we can’t wait! This year’s theme is “Best in the World” and we have a ton of fun activities in store for our first-class travelers! However, we can’t do it all on our own - it takes amazing, supportive parents such as yourself to help us pull it off. The PTSA has put together a list of our needs and we hope that you will consider helping us make this year one they won't forget.
DONATIONS - We will be hosting several contests and games where teachers and staff will have the opportunity to win lots of prizes. We need to obtain small and larger prizes.
Small Prizes - We need at least 85 gift cards for $10. These can be from any place you think they might like and having a variety is part of the fun! We ask that each card only be for $10. If you'd like to give more, please consider purchasing multiple $10 gift cards or donating a larger prize.
Large Prizes - From gift cards with larger values to gift certificates to a spa, these can be anything you'd like to donate! These prizes will be for the finale day on Friday.
Additionally, we will be visiting classrooms with an "In-Flight Snack Cart" and need donations for snacks and beverages. Please be sure any donations are delivered by Friday, May 3rd.

We’ve created an Amazon Wish List (link) to use for ideas but this is not required. Feel free to donate whatever you would like. We welcome any ideas (small or large) that will help us celebrate our teachers!
VOLUNTEER - There are several ways to volunteer and some only require an hour of your time.
Decorations/Bulletin Board - Friday, May 3rd after school (3:30 pm - 4:30 pm)
Lunch Setup/Cleanup - Monday, May 6th from 11:35 am - 1:45 pm
Snack Cart - Tuesday, May 7th from 1:45 pm - 2:45 pm
Breakfast Setup/Cleanup - Wednesday, May 8th from 7:30 am - 8:30 am
Student Appreciation Station - Wednesday, May 8th from 11:45 am-12:45 pm and/or 12:45 pm-1:45 pm
Decoration - Thursday, May 9th after school (3:30 pm - 4:30 pm)
Beverage Station - Friday, May 10th from 11:35 am - 1:45 pm
